I don’t usually leave long reviews, but this time I have to make an exception: the Carbonera Reserve tour organized by 5to Elemento was far more than tourism and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The day begins at a small farm overlooking the Andean mountains with breathtaking views stretching into the clouds. There, we listened to the story of this land (the origin of the ancient trail that crosses it, the challenges of reforestation ...) and each of us planted a palm. This shifts your perspective and quietly prepares you for what comes next : the Carbonera Reserve. This place is pure magic. It felt like stepping into something fragile and precious. There is a rare stillness and peace there, a scale and beauty that have struck me like in very few other places in the world.
5to Elemento’s organization is thoughtful yet warm. You can feel the care and sensitivity behind everything. It’s not just a guided tour; they help you understand where you are and why, and for whom, the places you are in matter.
I can’t put this day into a single word. What I can say is that, three days later, I’m surprised by how much I miss those landscapes and how something of them is still unfolding within me.

ESP - Una experiencia excelente! Todo lo que quieres de una buena agencia de tour: buena comunicación, informaciones muy claras, buenísimos guías, y mucha experiencia de la zona. Hicimos 2 toures privados para 4 personas: los dos fueron organizados con empresas de verdaderos apasionados, que nos trasmitieron toda su pasión por lo que hacen. También nos hizo falta organizar un transporte por el aeropuerto en combinación con un tour y nos ayudaron con todo. Muchas gracias por todo!

ENG - An excellent experience! Everything you want from a good tour agency: good communication, very clear information, excellent guides, and a lot of local experience. We did two private tours for four people: both were organized with companies run by true enthusiasts, who conveyed all their passion for what they do. Tuvimos una experiencia realmente fantástica con este tour.

Todo estuvo muy bien organizado desde el primer momento y el recorrido fue incluso mejor de lo que esperábamos. Los paisajes, las actividades y el ambiente hicieron que el día fuera inolvidable.

Quiero destacar especialmente a Sol, nuestro guía: una persona muy profesional, amable y simpática, que supo crear un clima positivo y hacer que todo fluyera de manera natural. Sin duda, marcó la diferencia en nuestra experiencia.

Aunque no pude usar el dron, logré capturar muchísimo material en fotos y videos, lo que demuestra lo inspirador que fue el tour.

Recomiendo esta experiencia al 100% a cualquiera que esté pensando en hacer este recorrido.

The tour to Carbonera was amazing! Carbonera is a highly underrated place, I think it’s better that Cocora. Would definitely recommend doing a tour with 5to Elemento. Our tour guide, Santiago, explained everything very well.

Maravillosa Carbonera
We spent a great day with Clement and Marcela exploring the Carbonera and surrounding areas. Marcela was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and fun to hang out with (especially as a DJ for the dancing in the jeep ;) ) La Carbonera is stunning and you need an organised tour to enter and visit. Los Nevados Trek - Paramillo Del Quinido
I did a 3 days/2 nights trek from cocora valley to the summit of Paramillo del Quinido with 5to elemto tours. They prepared me very well, we talked about my physical condition and my experience in advance so they could offer me tours that would fit my personal wishes and capabilities! We arranged everything in advance via Whats App and met the day before the tour for a final breefing. My guide Marcella supported me during the whole way: she told me a lot about the environment we went through, showed me a lot of birds, she motivated me during the challenging parts of the hike, she made sure I felt safe the whole time, even when the altitude started to make me feel bad on the way back from the summit. Una experiencia 10: Valle del Cocora+Coffee Tour
Merece muchísimo la pena el tour individual, lo hice junto a Eduardo y no pude tener mejor suerte. Un guía 10, súper cercano, amable, interactivo y super abierto a cualquier tipo de pregunta que le quieras hacer. Gracias a él el día ha sido el doble de mágico y me he acercado a mi país de una forma muy linda después de muchísimos años sin venir.
